Lovingly cared for, this 6' 4" Knabe has a practically
perfect walnut cabinet. It possess the legendary tone
that made Knabe the official piano of the Metropolitan
and San Franciso Opera Companies for decades. Purchased
new in 1974, this one-family piano has remained in the
piano-friendly Northwest for its entire life. The
artistic director of a major downtown concert hall
describes the tone is rich, warm, and "thrilling," and
calls it a "pianist's piano." The piano has been
thoroughly inspected.
Priced it for a deserving musician at $14,500, but it
sounds and plays like much more expensive pianos.
